Christmas Eve

Around 6:00 we started to get ready for Christmas Eve church service. This is my favorite part of Christmas. It's been a tradition in my family since I was little, and now we do this with our children. Lukas was extremely well at the church service and Ben and Landon left a little early. It was to long of a service for him. Lukas did communion and held his own candle during the candle light service. He did get a little bit of wax on his pants.

The best part of Christmas Eve is going over to my Nanny and Pappap's house to eat and open gifts with the family. Our family is so blessed that they're still in our lives to carry on this tradition. We had a wonderful family evening and we didn't leave there until midnight.

Nanny even broke down and bought Ben a Notre Dame sweatshirt. Yes, this broke her heart. Ben is very appreciate of her and knows how hard this was for her. For those of you who don't know, my Nanny is a huge Pitt fan and hates Notre Dame. Ben told her that we'll be down her place to watch Pitt vs. Notre Dame next year at her house. I told him not to push his luck. LOL!

Thanks everyone for all the great memories and gifts. We are so blessed to part of a wonderful family!

When we got home, the boys wanted to get a bath and then Lukas had to put out it his cookies, milk, and reindeer food out for Santa. He put it on his TV tray. It was so cute watching him set everything up.

Merry Christmas to All...And to All a good night!
