1st week of Kindergarten

Lukas finished his first week of kindergarten today. He did extremely well going to bed early and even getting up early without giving me any grief. He asked me every night to make him a heart sandwich for his lunch. I'd imagine that's what he's going to want next week too. 

His weekly schedule is:

Monday – Computer

Tuesday – Music

Wednesday – Art

Thursday – Gym

Friday – Library

Since he is at school all day, he has been tired in the evenings. He hasn't had any homework yet, but that will start next week. The school has a policy that they use cafeteria pin numbers for each student. You put money into their account instead of sending cash with the students. This four digit pin number will be the same from kindergarten thru 12th grade. I told Lukas his pin number and he memorized it in 10 minutes. I was impressed. What's also neat about this pin number is they will send a report home every month of what your child is ordering for breakfast or lunch. It's so advanced since we were in school...LOL!

He's adjusting very well and loves school.
