Hoot, Howls, Hooves & Habitats

From 10am – 3:00 we attended the Cub Scout Winter event at Crooked Creek horse park. What a fun-filled packed day. We got to watch Lukas do sling shot, archery, and sled race. We all got to meet Klif the police dog which was our favorite event of the day. Detective Heider put on an awesome presentation. The boys couldn't stop talking about them all day. We also got to meet wildbirds of Pennsylvania and Lukas will be able to earn his Wild Life Conservation Belt Loop. He just has a report to do to finish that part of the section. Lukas learned about taking care of horses. He got to brush, clean their hooves and measure a miniature horse. He also got his face painted like an indian and made a cute pin, too! It was a little cold, but we really had a great time.
