Today, I took Lukas to Sunday School. Then, when we got home, we packed up to enjoy our last day of Summer. We took the boys to Northmoreland Park and let them run wild. They spent a good hour on the playground, we fed the geese and ducks, then rented a paddle boat. This was Lukas 2nd time and Landon 1st on a paddle boat. Everything was going well till we had to put Landon's life jacket on. Then all hell broke loose. He was screaming his head off for 15 minutes. I told Ben that the life jacket had to come off! After his screaming fit, he was fine and enjoyed being out in the middle of the lake. After riding the paddle boat, we got the boys icecream and and sat on a swing looking at the lake. It was a gorgeous day! We can't believe Summer of 09' is over, but Ben and I are both looking forward to Fall...our favorite time of year!
