First SNOW fall!?!?

The boys woke us up with lots of excitement this morning. You would have thought it was Christmas morning! The boys were so excited about the SNOW. That's right...SNOW!

The boys couldn't wait to put on their snow gear and get outside to play:)

We can't believe we have snow in October. It looks like we are in for an extra long winter. We must say, it's extremely beautiful!

BOO to Drugs

Today was "Scare off drugs" at school today. Lukas had gym class, so he decided to be GI Joe! HIS FAVORITE:)

Halloweenburg Parade

Tonight was the Leechburg Halloweenburg Parade. A friend in our cub scout pack suggested we do a float this year. It was advertised in the paper that the best illuminated float wins. We asked our friends, Teets and Mindy, if they would let us borrow their trailer. Not only did they say yes, but they helped us decorate it both nights and drove it in the parade. We would have never pulled the float off if it wasn't for them. The theme of our float was "Pack 553 survives the haunted forest". We had lots of people help decorate and the float turned out to be a great success. We won 2nd place!

Mismatch Day!

Today was mismatched outfit day "drugs don't match your life".

CrAzY HAIR day!

It's Red Ribbon Week at Lukas's school. This week the students are encouraged to participate in themes for the week. Today was crazy hair day. He wanted to die it red and wear it spikey. He's even cute as a bright red head!

Last night the boys made sugar cookies with mommy. They both really enjoyed decorating them. Lukas said in the middle of decorating... "Mommy, I really love decorating cookies with you." We had a really great night. We love all the decorated cookies. Great job Lukas and Landon! :)

PumpkiN CarviN!

Late this evening we carved our pumpkins. The boys picked out white pumpkins this year and of course had to carve them:) Our first experience carving white pumpkins. Lukas drew his jack-o-lantern for the first time. We think he did a spectacular job! Landon wanted diamond eyes and a mouth so that is what we did for him. We also carved a huge family pumpkin (the boys call it Mommy and Daddy's pumpkin). Both boys did very well with the pumpkins this year!
