Nissan Titan

Ben's in heaven! He has been longing for another truck ever since he traded his last Titan in for the 2006 Xterra. We made the decision to get rid of the truck when we were planning on having another baby. Now that Landon is forward facing, Ben has been looking to get a truck again. Today, he pulled in the driveway with his new/used 2008 Nissan Titan. Lukas was just excited as Ben when he saw the truck. He was 2 when we traded the last Titan in and he was so upset. He actually cried the whole way home when we left the truck at the dealership. We were out growing the Xterra and Ben was never "in love" with it. They only thing that Ben dislikes about the truck is that it's black=]

HaPpY EASTER!

This morning started off great. The boys woke up around 8:30 and found their easter baskets. Landon's  basket was sitting right in front of the toy box and he didn't even notice it right away. Lukas took a little while to find his. Ben and I had to use the "hot & cold game" to steer him in the right direction. It was a lot of fun. He was very surprised when he looked behind the shower curtain. I took Lukas to Sunday School for 9:30, then came home to get Ben and Landon for the 11:00 church service. After church, we came home for a couple hours to put Landon down for a nap, then we headed out again at 2:30 to have dinner at my grandparents house. At 5:30 the boys and I headed out to my dad's place for a couple hours. It was a very fun-filled packed day. I'm totally exhausted=] HaPpY EaSteR EvErYoNe!!

Tie-Dye Easter Eggs

After dinner, we colored our Easter eggs. We do different themed eggs every year. This year Lukas wanted to "tie-dye" the eggs. After this experience, I'll never do this method again...LOL! We had to use these little droppers and bags to make the tie- dye effect. Lukas thought it was really cool, but Mommy was the one who got really messy. This is a fun experience for older children and the eggs do turn out very nice. Landon didn't get to participate because it was too complex for him, but we did let him hold one after they were dry.

FUMC Easter Egg Hunt

This morning we took the boys to our church Easter egg hunt from 10-12. It wasn't as warm as we hoped, but the boys still had a great time. Lukas did a lot of the activities that they had set up and we all enjoyed the snacks=] Enjoy the pics!
